Top 5 ways to get Facebook Likes

By Sushant Mehta on November 20, 2015

Looking for ways to build your audience on Facebook? Here are 6 practical tips that will help you get more Facebook likes.

Optimize your Facebook page and post original, informative content

Every section of a company’s Facebook page should include some useful content. When creating content always think about how it will be helpful or of interest to the readers. Remember, your content should not necessarily be about you; instead it should offer some value to the reader. Creating useful, informative content helps you establish an authority on the topics discussed and establish a connection with readers. In addition, useful content gets shared more, which in turn will increase your popularity and help you win more likes.

You should also optimize the content using keywords. With that said, do not stuff keywords into the content because that will make it less interesting and less readable.

Be Consistent

Consistency is the key to engaging audiences on all social media platforms, and Facebook is no exception to this.

If you post only as and when you feel like it, you will find it very difficult to gain a large audience. At a minimum, you should post once a day. If you are getting a good response, try posting more, but “one post a day” is the bare minimum.

Use the Facebook Page Plugin on blogs and websites

Today, you need to use different marketing channels to attract customers. If you have a blog or website, use a Facebook plug-in so that people can ‘like’ the page without going to Facebook. The Facebook Page Plugin allows the users to like and share the Facebook page without leaving the site.

Cross promote on LinkedIn and Twitter

Add a link to your Facebook page in your LinkedIn and Twitter profiles. Tweet the link of your Facebook to your followers. Similarly, request your LinkedIn members and followers to go over to the Facebook page, check out the content there, and leave a comment when they like the content posted.

Use Facebook Ads

If you have a budget, you can consider some paid advertising strategies for your Facebook page. Facebook offers “Page Like Ad” which has a Call to Action, encouraging users to like your Facebook page. The Ad appears in the News Feed or at the right hand side of the browser when users log into their Facebook Account.

The key to getting Facebook Likes is involving yourself in the Social Media community and writing real and valuable content.

By Sushant Mehta on November 3, 2015

Drivers are important for the proper functioning of your system. In the event of missing or corrupted software Drivers, some components may not behave erratically or not work at all. Software Drivers are necessary for all aspects of your computer’s operation from sound to wifi to printing. If you are experiencing issues with your PC, the problem may be out-of-date or missing device Drivers. Device manufacturers release Driver updates regularly to enhance the performance of their devices. It is important to keep your Devices updated with the latest Drivers available.

Windows 7 features a “Windows update” utility that updates Drivers for devices in the system. Generally, the device manufacturer presents the buyer with a Driver CD that has Drivers required for the effective functioning of the device. If you don’t have the Driver CD, you can always use the Windows Update utility to update Drivers in Windows 7.

Let’s take a look at steps to update Drivers for Windows 7 using Windows Update

  1. Click on Start button
  2. Click on Windows Update
  3. In the left pane, click Check for updates

Windows tell you about available updates and which updates are important, recommended, or optional. Sometime you may not find a particular Driver update in the list. In this situation, you can update the Driver for each hardware component or device manually or use the Driver Update Tool mentioned above.

Updating Drivers manually in Windows 7

  1. Click on the Start button
  2. Click Device Manager
  3. Locate the device in the list for which you want to update Driver
  4. Select the device and right-click on it
  5. Click update driver software
  6. You are presented with two options – “Search automatically for updated driver software” and “Browse my computer for updated software“
  7. If you select first option (Search automatically for updated driver software), your computer will search for any available Driver update and present you with an option to install the update, if it finds any
  8. If you choose the second option (Browse my computer for updated software), you are required to manually download the Driver update from device manufacturer’s website and install the Driver update yourself.
