The Home button provides access to most of the features on an iPhone. However, the iPhone 7 does not have a physical Home button. What you see is actually a part of a capacitive, sensor-driven disc that gives you the feeling of pressing the Home button. You can change the feeling of the click by following steps set out below:
Go to Settings > General > Home Button
You have three options to customize the feel of the Home button. Select the one you like and tap on “Done” in the right-hand corner.
Force a restart on the iPhone 7
Since the iPhone 7 does not have a Home button, the way to restart the phone also is different. You need to hold down the Power button on the right side of the phone and the Volume down button on left side of the phone. You need to hold the two buttons simultaneously and continue holding them until you see the Apple logo.
Opening the app switcher
The app switcher can be accessed by a double tap on Home button. The feature offers access to all apps and you can switch between any app. However, with the introduction of 3D Touch, you have another way of opening the app switcher. Just press down the left edge of the screen and swipe towards the center to access the app drawer.
