About Wireless and Network Drivers:

To connect to a network, you need a network or wireless adapter. The problem, however, is that your computer cannot communicate with these hardware devices on its own, and this is where wireless and network drivers come in. Wireless and network drivers are software programs installed on your hard disk that allow your operating system to communicate with your wireless and network adapters.

Wireless and network driver problems usually occur due to missing, outdated, or corrupt drivers.

Common Wireless and Network Drivers problems:

You may encounter any of the following problems when your wireless and network driver is missing, outdated, or corrupt:

  • You cannot connect to the Internet or any other computer on the network
  • Your computer freezes whenever you try to log on to the Internet
  • You receive a blue screen of death (BSOD) error whenever you make an attempt to connect to the Internet or try to establish contact with any other computer on your network.

You can check the status of your wireless or network adapter via the Device Manager. When you open the Properties dialog box of the network or wireless adapter whose driver has encountered a problem, you may encounter an error message similar to one listed below:

This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)

I found another way to get this app without internet connection. Your gonna need a smartphone and a usb cable. Download the app in your smartphone and put it in the folder you want so you can find it easier. Then attach usb to phone and windows (I havewindows 8.1) then on pc it has to appear what to do with the device. Click on that and it let you choose what to do. I think you have to press search in phone files. Click there and it will open all phone files. Then search for the app and drag it from there to where you want. Bam your done now open it.

PCs are useless items that unless u spend all of your time housekeeping, dl virus protect etc etc, waited it to do endless updates at innappropriate times, they only last a few years and a few hours before not working correctly. You need to have loads of cloud storage because you can't trust your computer to hold / keep safe anything at all. Just buy a mac and they just work straight out of the box and are the choice of anyone that runs any commercial studio as they can't afford the downtime u get with microsoft junk, rant over there garbage

Wireless adapter BSoD, if your having problems with your wireless adapter... return it and try
another. I've never had a problem with Belkin
or Logitech adapters. I've had various problems
with no name brands, linksys, and Tp-link, such
as connect, open browser BSoD. and or random
restarts, as well as adapter mounting and
dismounting in the usb slot even though it was not moved. Best advice I can give is if you
update driver and still have the same problem
try a different brand.

My connection to internet works only if I go to Device manager and disable and then enable the adapter (one of them because there is long list). But every so often I get disconnected, and then when I try to connect it says cannot find wireless network, it's just all screwed up, so I have to bypass all this and disable and enable from device manager like previously indicated. Sometimes it hangs while in process and then I can't shut down so I press the power button to close computer. Once I let it run instead of pressing power button and I got a blue screen: Driver_Power_State_Failure. So I just close the button and restart, and my internet comes on automatically,... but I know eventually it will disconnect and I will see a red X on the internet icon in my tray! So I start the process all over again,,, disable, enable and hope it re-connects quickly. PLEASE TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG?? I have a Vista, maybe some kind of past windows update or program? HELP!!
