Imagine flying 2500 miles, from the U.S. east coast to mid-west Idaho, to
pick up your new car. Some people are doing that, reports USA
Today , and they are being enticed with all kinds of incentives such
as free skiing, mountain bikes, and barbeques. Cars ARE selling on the Internet,
and dealers are getting increasingly aggressive about going after customers.
Rich West, publisher of Ward's Dealer Business , says its top 100
e-dealers sold more than 61,000 new and used vehicles online last year. ![]()
