Download Acer Drivers
To download Acer drivers, perform the steps listed below:
- Log on to http://support.acer.com/us/en/default.aspx
- Click Driver Downloads listed under Additional Resources
- In the Select Your Product dialog box choose the product type in the Select Family drop-down menu
- Next, select the product line
- Select the Model type in the Select Model drop-down menu
- Click the Confirm button
- Download all the Drivers that you need for your computer separately and save the Driver files in a suitable location such as in My Computer or the desktop
Installing Acer Drivers
To install Acer Drivers, double-click each downloaded file and then follow the onscreen instructions.
It is recommended that you restart Windows after installing the new Drivers.
Why you must create a restore point before installing new Drivers
Sometimes, you may experience issues after installing a new Driver. By creating a restore point before installing new Drivers, you give yourself the option to roll back your computer settings to a previous time when things were working well.
To create a restore point follow the steps below:
- Exit all open programs
- Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, click System Tools, and then click System Restore
- Click the Create a Restore point button
- Click Next
- Select an appropriate restore point in the Restore point description box, and then click the Finish button

I got a problem with wireless network adapter diver.
I have a Acer 4749Z, recently I’d reinstalled windows 7 ultimate again without backing up divers, then I went to Acer Driver download page to download driver and install drivers.
But after, I coudn’t turn on wifi, I used Intel Wireless Network Adapter, there are 4 drivers(Atheros, Broadcom, Intel, and Realtek) for wireless on Acer driver download page, I installed all them, but my laptop just appeared Intel Wireless at desktop box and Qualcomm driver for Internet(not wireless) in Deveice Managemet. It showed that ” Adapter Problem: Driver is not installed”
But I’d done an installion before. So what can I do now to use the wifi connection?
Please help me!

I have a three month old Acer Aspire. I cannot download files to the cd from the documents. The send button and the move buttons are not copying the files to cd. The files are ready to be written. Everything else works

Hi,
I have got a slight problem with the display of my laptop. I reinstalled my Acer Aspire laptop with Windows & ultimate. After installation I am seeing that the display is a little bit hazy. If I run any videos, then dots are appearing on the screen or the picture is breaking up into pixels. Do I require any additional driver for that? As in other laptop/computers I have never faced this kind of problem.

Can I clarify – did you upgrade from windows 7 to windows 8? You can try the drivers scan using the link above and this will tell you if you need driver updates. You don’t need to register the software to just run the scan

I have an acer aspire es1-711 laptop. The keyboard has stopped working and makes a clicking sound every time a press a key. It has been shipped off to be repaired 2 times already and the problem still hasn’t been fixed. So far, it seems acer is a crappy company.

I have an Acer Aspire v5-561G with Windows8.1 which i bought 1 week ago. I got 3 major problems :
1)Mostly every time I turn on the laptop it shows a black screen just before the login screen, I have to restart once or twice for it to get it back to normal.
2)Sometimes it shows something like “Working on updates, don’t turn off computer” after turning on and it takes forever..
3)When I start a game called “AION” it says “display driver stopped responding and recovered..” and go black screen again.

Try Downloading & Installing the Wireless Driver for the Windows OS before Windows 7. (e.g- Windows Vista or XP.)for the same bit OS if a 32 bit (x86) or a 64 bit (x64) & try them ***NOTE***Restart PC after each new Driver installation but Create a Restore Point Before Any Driver Installs incase of issues Occur during installation.
