The Driver/Education newsletter

PDE Publications began publication of the Driver/Education newsletter in the spring of 1991. Its aim was to open up lines of communication between the training/education community, researchers and policy makers.

Since then, the newsletter has circulated to paying subscribers in the United States, Canada and about a dozen other countries around the world. Being an independent publication, it was interesting, insightful, sometimes controversial and packed with information available in no other publication in the field.

In 1995, PDE Publications started the Drivers.com web site. Managing and producing the print newsletter became increasingly difficult due to time constraints. We have decided, therefore to suspend publication of the newsletter indefinitely and concentrate on the web site, which currently has a huge amount of information about drivers and driving.

Subscribers

Subscribers who recently paid for subscriptions can opt to either have their money returned or receive a copy of the back issues on CD-ROM. The CD-ROM will be available later this year in the Drivers.com bookstore.

The Tables of Contents of several past issues can be browsed.
